Adam J. Flood is a native Texan, having been born in Houston. He grew up though living all over the United States, including Chicago, IL, Monterey, CA, and landing back in Houston, where he continues to live today.=

Adam graduated from nearby at La Porte High School and later would attend the University of Houston’s main campus before leaving college and entering the United States Navy.

Adam spent six years in the U.S. Navy, while serving at various commands, including Naval Training Command Great Lakes, Illinois, Naval Station Mayport, Florida, and on board the USS Trenton (LPD-14) out of Norfolk, VA.

Adam excelled both as a leader and academically during his military service, earning distinctions such as the Navy and Marine Corp Achievement Medal, graduating as one of the top 5 recruits out of 900 during basic training, also receiving several Letters of Commendation, and Letters of Appreciation. Adam also served during 9-11 and during Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.

After an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Navy, Adam went back to college and on to graduate from the University of Houston, Main Campus, while attaining academic achievements, such as appearing on the Dean’s List.

After graduation from University of Houston, Adam attended law school at South Texas College of Law. In law school, Adam continued to excel academically and as a leader. Adam was named to the Dean’s List, was the Managing Editor of CURRENTS, International Trade Law Journal, and was selected and had an international law article published in Currents.

Adam was also one of the co-founders and Vice-President of a new student organization, STCL Coogs, for graduates of University of Houston that attended South Texas.

Today, Adam enjoys spending his free time with his daughters, and son.
